Chapter 12:
MESSAGE TO PASTORS AND TEACHERS NOT TELLING THE WHOLE TRUTH,
AND TO THOSE WHO LISTEN TO THEM:

Ezek. 13:22; (The righteous today are ridiculed FROM THE PULPIT and made to feel sad and embarrassed with remarks like; ‘If anyone here is not sinning, raise your hand, I’d like to see who you are.’ We are scorned for consistently doing what’s right, and refusing to sin, through the power of the Holy Spirit! The truth is, everyone who professes to be a Christian should be raising their hand at such a question! The Bible says; It’s required of every man who names the Name of Christ to depart from iniquity! NO ONE can say they ‘have to sin’ when God ALWAYS makes a way out. Therefore, it is ALWAYS a matter of our CHOICE, Not our ability. We true Christians, before we knew Christ, WERE all sinners, but NOW, we are saints; and we should not have to be ashamed of it! But in fact, we are ridiculed for it. This kind of treatment, from the pulpit on down, is demeaning and insulting; and we are grieved by this ridicule and saddened by this false doctrine in the church. And because this false doctrine teaches that ‘we are all sinners’, and ‘we HAVE to sin’, therefore, people do Not repent as Jesus demands for salvation, but keep on sinning, not even knowing that they won’t go to Heaven. Jesus says; “Go and Sin NO MORE” and “Except you REPENT, you shall all PERISH” and “Without Holiness, NO man shall see God.”) So finally-

Ezek. 13:22; The Lord says this; “Because with lies- you have made the heart of the righteous SAD, whom I have NOT made sad; and you have made the hands of the wicked strong so that he should NOT turn from his wicked way; because YOU have promised him life.” (KJV)

Isa. 9:16; “For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and those who are led by them are destroyed!”

Isa. 66:5; “Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at His word; your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for My name's sake, said; Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and THEY shall be ashamed.”

1Jn 3:7; “Little children, let no man deceive you: he that DOES righteousness is righteous, even as He (Christ) is righteous.”

2Tim. 3:5; (These verses describe many pastors today in this apostate generation, as well as the sheep who are the products of their teaching); “Having a form of godliness but denying its power; and from such people turn away!”

Jer. 23:1-2; “Woe to the pastors who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!’ Says the Lord… ‘behold I will attend to YOU for the evil of YOUR doings.”

Jer. 12:10; “Many pastors have destroyed My vineyard, they have trodden My portion under foot: they have changed My delightful portion into a desolate wilderness.”

James 3:1; The preachers and teachers “shall receive the greater condemnation.”

Acts 20:28,29; (Paul says this to the “OVERSEERS” of the flock): “Take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock… grievous wolves shall enter in among you, not sparing the flock.”

Jer. 50:6; “My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds (pastors) have caused them to go astray…”

Hos. 4:6; “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

2Pet.2:19; “While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption…”

Jer. 48:10; “Cursed is he that does the work of the LORD deceitfully.”

Jer. 10:21; “The pastors have done foolishly, and have not truly sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flock is scattered.”

Psalms 50:16-17; “What right have YOU to declare MY statutes, or to take MY covenant in YOUR mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you?”

2 Pet. 3:17; “Beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the ERROR of the wicked.”

Col. 2:8; “Take heed, lest there be anyone who spoils you through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, after the thinking of this world, and not according to Christ.”

Psalms 119:99; “I have more understanding than all my teachers, because YOUR TESTIMONIES are my meditation!”
(Those today, who listen and believe the “error” and false teachings of any pastor or teacher who merely “shows” himself as knowledgeable, and merely has a form of Godliness, but is not teaching them the whole truth, are still without excuse because they have the Word of God which teaches them ALL THINGS, if they REALLY desire to know):

Jonah 2:8; “THEY THAT OBSERVE LYING VANITIES FORSAKE THEIR OWN MERCY.” (KJV) Read that again.

*Special note: For your own good so that you are prepared; Know in advance that when you are righteous and walking holy before the Lord, the greatest persecution that you will get- will come from those pastors and teachers, and leaders of the church! - - Just like in Jesus’ day! The well respected Charles Finney says; “If you have the Spirit of God, you must make up your mind to accept experiencing opposition, both in the church, and in the world. Very likely, the leading men in the church will oppose you. There has always been opposition in the church, it was this way when Christ was on earth. Often the elders, and even the pastor will oppose you if you are filled with the Spirit of God.”  These are the words of Charles Finney himself. And accounts that I have heard from anointed people through whom God moves very powerfully are the same as what Charles Finney said. 2Tim. 3:12; “All who will live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”  So when they come against you, don’t be moved by it! Prov. 29:25; “The fear of man brings a snare: but whoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be safe.”
