Chapter 6:
WHEN ONE TRULY KNOWS GOD, NOT SINNING IS TRULY EASY:
1John 5:3; “For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments which are NOT BURDENSOME.”
Matt. 11:30; “My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Prov. 19:23; “The fear of the LORD leads to life: and HE THAT HAS IT shall abide SATISFIED; he shall not be visited with evil.”
Prov. 16:6; “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the FEAR OF THE LORD men depart from evil.” A Christian who has the FEAR of the Lord knows the peace and tranquility of NOT being controlled by sin and temptation, but on the other hand, a so-called professing “Christian” who reduces God and considers Him merely ‘an awesome God’, but doesn’t have “FEAR AND TREMBLING” [Phil. 2:12] will be complacent and indulgent of potentially deadly things that he allows in his life instead of walking holy and righteous before God, which God commands us to do, and without which NO ONE will enter the kingdom of Heaven. Jer. 32:39-40; “I will give them one heart and one way that they may FEAR me for their own good… and I will put My FEAR in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.” Heb. 12:14; Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. 1Pet. 4:18; The righteous shall scarcely be saved. Heb. 4:1;Let us therefore FEAR lest the promise being left us of entering into His rest, any of you should fall short of it.”
